Roasted Mushrooms

It really can’t get simpler than this. Make the stuffing a day ahead if you’d like. You can add a variety of toppings to this – from cheese to paneer to even grated carrots. Enjoy experimenting!

Ingredients:

1 packet button mushrooms

Small bunch of spinach, roughly chopped

4-5 garlic cloves, chopped

Pepper

Salt

1 tablespoon oil

Garlic powder (optional)

Cheese (optional)

Procedure:

Separate the stems from all the mushrooms and chop them roughly.

Heat oil in a pan and add the garlic, followed by the chopped mushroom stems. Sauté for a minute and add the spinach. Saute for another two minutes and take off heat.

Pre-heat the oven at 200 degree celsius. Spoon a little filling into the mushrooms and pop in the oven for fifteen minutes. You can add grated cheese over the filling before roasting them as well.

Stick a toothpick on each mushroom and they’re ready to be served.
